CBens is an app that connects beatmakers: posting beats, service offers (collabs, mixing, mastering, mentoring, reviews, custom beats) and orders between members. This page explains what data we process, why, and your rights.

Data we process

• Account: email address or the identifier provided by Sign in with Apple (Apple can hide your email), username, display name.
• Profile (optional): photo, bio, city, music genres, accent color.
• Published content: audio files, artwork, titles, descriptions, tags, service offers and their prices.
• Activity: follows, likes, saves, blocks and reports.
• Orders: brief, reference links, delivered files, history, reviews.
• Technical data: connection and error logs needed for security and reliability.

We do not collect your precise location, your contacts or health data. No data is sold or used for advertising.

Why

• To provide the service: create your account, show your profile and content, handle orders (legal basis: performance of a contract).
• To keep the platform safe: blocks, reports, abuse prevention (legal basis: legitimate interest and legal obligations).
• Automatic moderation: the text (titles, descriptions, bio, username) and images (covers, profile photo) you publish are analysed automatically to hide violent, hateful or shocking content. Content hidden by mistake is reviewed by a human and can be restored (legal basis: legitimate interest).
• Sanctions: repeated or severe hidden content can lead to posting being blocked temporarily or suspended until a human review. Every decision is explained in the app (Settings → Moderation of my content) and can be appealed.

Who sees what

• Your profile and public content are visible to signed-in CBens members.
• “Followers” or “private” content is only visible to the people concerned.
• An order is only visible to its buyer and seller.
• The social media links you add to your profile are public.

Service providers and hosting

• Supabase (database, files, sign-in): servers in Paris, European Union.
• Apple: Sign in with Apple and app distribution.
• Expo: app update delivery.
• Resend: sign-in code emails.
• Sentry (servers in Germany, EU): app crash reports, without name, email or IP address.
• OpenAI (United States): automatic analysis of published content through its moderation service. Only the content's text and image are sent, never your email. Transfer covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses; OpenAI does not use this data to train its models.

Retention

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete my account): your profile, content, follows and files are then permanently deleted. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to processing, by emailing admin@cbens.fr. You can also file a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) or your local authority.

Minimum age

CBens is for people aged 15 and over.
